Giving Tuesday

GIVING TUESDAY

Giving Tuesday is November 29th, 2016. Giving Tuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the U.S. It is a way to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support. Protect The Harvest works hard to: EDUCATE about farming and agriculture, what takes place and how things are done in order to more efficiently feed and provide for our nation. INFORM about the threats anti-farming extremists and animal rights groups pose to agriculture, farming and pet ownership. PROTECT by creating legal, lasting safeguards for animal owners, ranchers and farmers, and hunters and anglers. These safeguards protect our freedoms and way of life. RESPOND by opposing the efforts of radical groups who are working to pass laws or enact regulations that would hinder our access to affordable and safe food, limit our freedoms and restrict our rights. It takes resources to educate, inform, protect and respond and to spread the word. We can’t do it alone and need your help. We are asking our supporters on Giving Tuesday (#GivingTuesday) to consider providing some financial support to Protect The Harvest. There is an old saying that rings true in our rural communities, “Watch your pennies and the dollars take care of themselves.” While large donations are great, small ones count just as much!
