Taylor Gordon – Trainer Bio

Background

Taylor Gordon got his first horse at the age of 12. He learned to ride on that horse and eventually encountered his first problem horse, which spurred his interest in training. Being home schooled allowed him the time and flexibility to spend hours working with horses and developing a relationship with them. He knew he wanted to be a professional horse trainer but the idea was not popular with those close to him. Taylor was determined though, to follow his dream and accomplish his goal. At 18 years old he chose to leave college to devote his time to building his business. With the support of his parents and use of their property, Taylor started Diamond T Horsemanship.

Diamond T Horsemanship

Diamond T Horsemanship has been growing for the past 7 years and has surpassed Taylor’s hopes and dreams. Taylor now leases a facility in Kittitas County, Washington.  There, he conducts clinics, trains horses and gives lessons. He believes that his experience starting colts and dealing with problem horses gives him the tools needed to start a mustang and take it to a competitive level. Taylor is excited at the opportunity given by Protect the Harvest and Lucas Oil to compete in the 2018 Wild Spayed Filly Futurity.  He is looking forward to tackling another goal and furthering his horsemanship.
