Kansas City, MO (Nov. 8, 2017): Linda Chezem, a spokesperson for Protect the Harvest (PTH) will make an important address to the 2017 National Association Farm Broadcasters Convention (NAFB) Trade Talk forum on Thursday morning Nov. 9. She will speak to the nationally debated 'hot button' subject: "Will the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's electronic logging device (ELD) regulations for truck shut down our economy?" Chezem, of Counsel, Foley, Peden and Wisco and Adjunct Professor, Indiana University School of Medicine is a trucking industry expert and maintains that the economic fallout for rural communities and small businesses would be catastrophic to the economy and is a compelling reason to delay the ELD mandate. Chezem will speak at the PTH Booth, #73 located in the Century Ballroom on the Ballroom Level of the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center on Thursday Nov. 9. The Trade Talk forum begins at 7:00am.
