The Dog Lover: The Wrong Side of Right to be Released in July

As first reported by Variety, The Dog Lover: The Wrong Side of Right is scheduled for release in select theaters across the nation as well as Video on Demand on July 8th and on DVD on July 12th.

The film was produced by Protect The Harvest founder Forrest Lucas in partnership with Ali Afshar’s ESX Entertainment, and recently concluded a deal with Steven Paul’s SP Releasing for distribution through SP Releasing and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The Dog Lover: The Wrong Side of Right is the story of an animal rights activist who goes undercover at a large-scale dog-breeding operation in order to expose it for potential corruption, but finds something else entirely. It stars James Remar (Dexter, The Warriors), Lea Thompson (Back to the Future, Switched at Birth), Jayson Blair (Whiplash, The New Normal), and Allison Paige (The Flash, Days of Our Lives) and was directed by Alex Ranarivelo (Born to Race).

Last year, the film premiered at the world famous Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
