Protect The Harvest is pleased to announce that Jim Haworth will be joining our Board of Directors. Jim has a long history in both agriculture and animal ownership, as well as business management and strategy. This experience includes being a cattle rancher, cutting horse breeder and competitor, as well as a 30-year background in all aspects of business operation and leadership. We appreciate him accepting the seat.
Jim is the current President & CEO of Outdoor Cap Company. Prior to this, Jim served as Chairman & CEO of Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR), EVP/President of Retail Services of Sears Holdings Corporation, and Chairman, President, & CEO of Chia Tai Enterprises Intl. LTD. CP Lotus. Additionally, Jim spent 20 years with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., holding various positions culminating in Executive Vice President & COO.
Jim currently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Conn's Home Plus, and a Member of the Board of Directors at Western Sports Foundation. True to his roots, Jim is on the Finance Committee as well as the Long-Range Planning Committee for the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA).
We are extremely proud to add Jim to the Protect The Harvest team and look forward to his knowledge, perspective, and guidance in our continued fight for our American traditions and quality of life.
